Christmas Stars

These are some stars that I made as Christmas ornaments. I used Stampin' Up!'s new Wintergreen Designer Series scrapbooking paper. The paper is double sided, so the pictures show the fronts and backs of each star. This is such an easy project! I'm thinking of doing these for my Christmas gift camp coming up later this fall. What do you think? Would you like to learn how to make these?

We've had another busy day here with piano lessons, haircuts, a home school meeting later tonight.....oh yeah, and a little fire in our back field!! :0) My husband was burning some brush and the fire had died down and was just smoldering when he came in for lunch. Next thing he knew a fire truck with lights flashing and sirens screaming was pulling into our driveway. That's when he saw that the fire was doing more than smoldering! We arrived home from piano lessons seeing the fire truck and lots of smoke, but most of the fire was out by then. My girls were very worried about their chickens that live in the barn at the edge of the field that was on fire. I went and checked on Rhoda, Aleta, and Chirper (our pet chickens!) and they were all fine. Everyone needs a little excitement in each day, I guess! Hope your day was less exciting than ours!! :0)

Thanks for checking out my website.

OOh, I love those stars! Yes, I want to learn how to make them. :-)

What excitement you had, indeed. I'm thankful nothing was to badly damaged and praise the Lord your animals and house were safe.
