These are the frames that I made for my grand nieces for Christmas. Wow, that "grand nieces" makes me sound really old, but I'm not!! Anyway, I didn't want to post pictures until I had given them. Now that they have them, I can finally post pictures!
I am so happy with how these turned out. I wanted to make them similar, yet different. And I wanted to use bright colors and make them "girly" looking. I started with Stampin' Up!'s wonderful Flowers for You Designer Series Paper for the background. For the letters, I used my Big Deal Alphabet for the first time! My colors were straight from the papers---Certainly Celery, Lovely Lilac, Regal Rose, and Tempting Turquoise. My little accent flower stamp is from the Stampin' Up! set called Just Like You---that is made to go with the Flowers for You paper. (This is such a cute stamp set and it is the current Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set, meaning that $2 from the sale of each set is donated to that Charity!!)
Other fun stuff that I used to make them "girly" was grosgrain ribbon, Square Rhinestone Brads, the Scallop Circle Punch and the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. Oh, I also used the Warm Words set for the little words on the circle/scallop tags.
I hope you like these cute little frames. I hold some Name Frame classes throughout the year that are available for you to come and learn how to do these yourself!!! Contact me if you are interested.
Happy Stamping! I have a full day of stamping planned for tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have more stuff to post here soon.
