I stamped, I stamped!!!

Yes, you read that right.  I actually had time yesterday to do some stamping.  I was so excited.  It was thanks to the beautiful snow on Saturday and everything being cancelled on Sunday that I was able to just do something fun!!  Thanks, God, for the wonderful snow break.  I even spent some time outside in the snow!!

So here is one card that I made yesterday.  It is a Valentine's Day card using an older stamp set called Happy Hearts.  There is a new hearts stamp set out now, but I figure that my old one works just fine for now.

I saw a card on the SU! website that used all the black and gray, but I really wanted to just add a touch of color to it.  So this is Amy's version of that card.  Do you like it?

I will be posting some more pictures over the next few days, I hope.....

Fall has arrived

HAPPY FALL, EVERYONE!!! We have arrived at my favorite season. The nice cool, crispness in the air and the leaves turning many beautiful colors. It is just amazing!!

I've been playing with my blog a little today. How do you like the new background? And I finally updated with the new catalog, definitely decorative catalog and the holiday mini catalog. I hope that all the links work.... I just realized that I have not checked them yet.

If anyone would like to order anything in September, please let me know by this weekend (27th). I will be submitting the order on Monday, September 28th. For this order I am offering a SUPER special---20% off anything that you order!! (I need your help to keep me active as a demo.)

I hope to hear from you soon!

Look at what Christine made!!

Christine came over the other night and made this beautiful frame for her friend who loves Boyds bears. Isn't this great?!? I think that it turned out totally cute....once we decided how to make it. :o)

I have even made a few cards but haven't taken pictures yet. Maybe in the next few days you'll see something new from me. Oh, and I did a card swap with some other demos this week, so I will show you their beautiful creations soon, too!!

Have a great day!

I'm around, but not stamping too much...

Well, I am still here and played with my blog today (do you like the new background?), but I have not had much opportunity to stamp lately. I did make a scrapbook for my daughter's violin teacher---it had pictures of all of her students (64 pages)!! I think it turned out really well, but I didn't get any pics taken of it. :o(

I have been cleaning my stamping room today, so maybe I can get a spot clear and stamp again soon. I have high hopes of creating some new things. My daughter seems to be feeling better and doing better healthwise. that is a relief!! All of our activities are slowing down for summer. Now I'm dreaming of the swimming pool and stamping some cool new things.

Have a blessed day!!

Easy cards and another cake

Well, I stamped for a few minutes on Thursday and here is what I made....

These cards are part of a Simply Sent Kit called Thanks x 2. It comes with 8 cards and envelopes (aren't those olive envelopes cool?), plus a stamp set with 2 "thank you"s, a flower and a dots stamp. The swirls and circles are preprinted on the cards and the scallop edge is already done for you. These cards literally all go together in 3o mins or less!!! They are great when you need a quick card. I needed to make some Happy Anniversary cards so I used a stamp from the set called Hugs and Wishes and now I have 8 cards ready to go!! Oh, well, I want to stamp more, but life is so busy right now....

And Emily made a beautiful Valentine's Day cake for my Sunday School 7th and 8th grade girls. Here is a peek at it, but watch out, it'll make you hungry!!!

Don't those roses look awesome?!? I wish I had one to eat right now. But I'm going out to a Japanese Steakhouse tonight, so I will have some really good food even if it's not cake!!!

Have a blessed day! I hope that you have time to stamp today.

I'm still here....

I apologize for being incommunicato for awhile. Emily's health has been up and down and then the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with getting ready and travelling. In early January, I will be travelling to India again. So I thought that I would get a quick post in while I was thinking about it and had a minute. Here are some of the Christmas cards that I made for this year....I just haven't mailed any of them yet!!! :o)

I hope that you enjoy these cards. I may not be back to post more until towards the end of January. Hopefully, after my trip to India, I'll have some time for rubber stamping and scrapbooking again....
Blessings to you and yours during this Christmas season!!
